IDENTIFICATION GUIDELINES

As a Money Service Business, ClearACheque and it's Agents are obliged to see the following ID to cash 3rd Party cheques. These are cheques received from established companies and organisations that are dated within 2 weeks:

All Cheques:
- The cheque's accompanying payslip or covering letter, where available. (If not available, please call ahead.)
- Proof of Signature (debit or credit card, CIS card, Police or Warrant Card, Passport or Driving Licence)

Cheques below £400: 2 utility bills OR official letters, invoices or statements dated within the last 3 months.

Cheques above £400: AS ABOVE PLUS either a Passport, UK Driving Licence, EU National Photocard, CIS Photocard, UK Armed Forces Photocard, Birth or Marriage Certificate. (Must be in same name as cheque Payee.)

Please Note: If you do not receive official letters or bills, we can still accommodate your enquiry, although please call 0800 655 6578 beforehand.

*N.B. ClearACheque reserve the right to accept or decline any transaction, subject to status and suitable ID. Additional documents may be required to further confirm address or cheque status, including previous customers returning after several months.
