COMMISSION RATES

Our rates are very competitive and by having Agents nearer your home or workplace that are open late 7 days, you do not have to waste valuable time and money travelling to dedicated cheque cashing stores in the next large town or city centre.

We also regularly check local competitor rates and offer reduced rates as cheque values increases - starting from just 3% for cheques from a company or organisation (wages, rebates & refunds, benefits, etc.)

And unlike some cheque cashers, ClearACheque do not apply a joining fee to new customers.

Our sliding scale of rates depends on the cheque value, but typically, for a £100 cheque you'd receive £90.00 cash back (including all admin fees), with higher values receiving a reduced rate.

Some ClearACheque Agents have reduced rates for all cheque values.

IDENTIFICATION GUIDELINES

  As a Money Service Business, ClearACheque and it's Agents are obliged to check and copy the following ID to cash 3rd Party cheques (wages, refund & rebate, benefit, etc) from established companies and organisations and preferably dated within 2 weeks:

  All Cheques:
  • The cheque's accompanying payslip or covering letter, where available. (If not available, please call ahead.)
  • Proof of Signature (debit or credit card, CIS card, Police or Warrant Card, Passport or Driving Licence)

  Cheques below £400: 2 utility bills OR official letters, invoices or statements dated within the last 3 months.

  Cheques above £400: AS ABOVE PLUS either a Passport, UK Driving Licence, EU National Photocard, CIS Photocard, UK Armed Forces Photocard, Birth or Marriage Certificate. (Must be in same name as cheque Payee.)

  Please Note: If you do not receive official letters or bills, we can still accommodate your enquiry, although please call 0800 655 6578 beforehand.

  *N.B. ClearACheque reserve the right to accept or decline any transaction, subject to status and suitable ID. Additional documents may be required to further confirm address or cheque status, including previous customers returning after several months.
